Mission Trips
Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, the Missions Development Team endeavors to plan, fund and coordinate short-term mission trips in the United States and internationally each year.
Our completed and planned mission trips have been/are such a blessing!

In general, all planned trips are considered "tentative" until funding and coordination details become relatively solidified. At that point, they will be classified as "open" and preliminary meetings will be announced so that those who may be interested can attend to get information. The "closed" date will be determined by the team leader for that particular mission trip but factors that are typically taken into consideration in establishing the date, travel arrangements, financial commitments, and visa requirements (among others).
All mission trips are financially subsidized (to varying degrees) for all Southside Members. Members will be informed of the amount of financial assistance available during the informational meetings related to the trips.
Non-Southside members who apply to participate in one of the trips may request funding assistance through the Mission Development Team. The team will consider a number of factors (including the availability of funds) in making a decision regarding funding for non-Southside members.
All participants on Southside Baptist Church mission trips are expected to adhere to the letter and spirit of the Southside MDT covenant. Additionally, everyone (including Southside members) must complete an application in order to be considered for participation on a Southside Baptist Church mission trip.
The application form is in PDF format and requires Acrobat Reader to be loaded on your computer. The latest version of Acrobat Reader may be downloaded free by clicking on the Adobe Reader button below.
